BYOU Impact Foundation · Now forming

Join the Founding Board.

We are forming the founding board and advisory circle of the BYOU Impact Foundation. This is for people who believe mental health support should become more accessible, preventive and human for the next generation.

Netherlands · Working globally · Est. 2026

Why this board

A small group with outsized responsibility.

The BYOU Impact Foundation exists to protect access to wellbeing for young people and communities who need support but cannot always pay for it. The founding board is the group that gives this its first shape: governance, values, safeguards and the first partnerships.

It is small on purpose. Six board seats. A wider advisory circle. The people around the table will meaningfully influence the direction, culture and reputation of the Foundation for years to come.

This is a founding role, not a ceremonial one.

Board seats · 6

The seats we are filling first.

01

Chair

Experienced board leader who can guide governance, strategy and public representation of the Foundation.

02

Treasurer

Financial expertise, non-profit accounting, and comfort with impact reporting and audit standards.

03

Secretary

Governance, legal and compliance background. Ideally familiar with Dutch stichting structures.

04

Clinical & wellbeing lead

Psychiatrist, psychologist, or wellbeing expert to safeguard the quality and safety of what we build.

05

Youth & community lead

Deep experience with youth work, education, or community programs. Knows the reality on the ground.

06

Impact & partnerships lead

Fundraising, corporate partnerships, and building relationships with donors, schools and companies.

Advisory circle

A wider group of trusted advisors.

Around the board we are building an advisory circle: senior people who give focused input on specific topics without the full governance responsibility of a board seat.

Advisory expertise we are looking for:

  • Digital health & platform strategy
  • Media, journalism and public voice
  • Research and academic partnerships
  • Policy and public sector
  • Brand, storytelling and design
  • Technology, AI and product
