A generation is asking for help. The systems around them were not designed to hear it.
One in three young people struggles with their mental health. Waiting lists are long, language is clinical, and the routes into care were built for someone else. BYOU Impact Foundation exists to change that, by building the missing infrastructure between everyday life and professional care, together with the young people who need it.

Danique built BYOU from the United States as a global movement where mental wellbeing is a human right. Now she is bringing BYOU Impact Foundation to the Netherlands, to give young people access to safe places, peer support and professional guidance. A brand new foundation, built from experience, courage and the belief that no one should have to fight alone.
Community & peer support
Young people meet peers in safe BYOU Clubs at school and in their neighbourhood. Talking, listening, and learning together that you are not alone.
Training & safeguarding
Club leaders are trained in listening, signalling and boundaries. We work with clear safeguarding guidelines and a code of conduct.
Referral to professional care
When someone needs more than peer support, we connect them quickly and carefully to qualified mental health professionals.
